- Doctoral : Major credits must be at least 1/2 of the curriculum credits (34 credits).
- Master-Doctorate : Major credits must be at least 1/2 of the curriculum credits (52 credits).

① Master: If a student receives A+ grades in three or more major courses offered by their affiliated department, they can be exempted from taking the comprehensive exam in their major subject.
② Doctoral and Master-Doctorate: If a student receives A+ grades in four or more major courses offered by their affiliated department, they can be exempted from taking the comprehensive exam in their major subject.
