주요 연구분야로는 수리모형실험/수치해석을 통하여, 수공구조물 붕괴의 원인 규명 및 보호공 제안, 홍수시 미세 플라스틱 저감 대책, 폭우로 인한 토석류 발생시 거대 암석의 거동 규명등이 있다.
